During the early months of WW1
Pelham was requisitioned by the War Office for use as an auxiliary
hospital for wounded Belgian soldiers.
Present status (December 2011) The property, which was built in 1874, has been divided into a set of dwellings - East, West and Upper Pelham. East Pelham contains the major portion of the original house. Together with Pelham Lodge, they are located on the north side of Manor Place, off Manor Park. |
